Tender Procedure For Npp “belene” Purification Plants Starts In 2 Months

In two months the mayor of Svishtov (Bulgaria) Stanislav Blagov should announce a public tender for the design and construction of purification plants, informed citybuild.bg.

The water supply and sewerage networks will also be changed. This was decided by the municipal councilors in Svishtov. They have also adopted the Detailed structural plan for regulation and construction on the “Belene” Nuclear Power Plant field.

Several conditions have been given for compensation of the population since part of the plant's field falls into the territory of Svishtov. Among the demands are: sharing of the tax revenues on an equal basis with Svishtov municipality, complete reconstruction of several roads, state funding for a potable water purification plant.

The plan demands also a storage for radioactive waste not to be built on the territory of Svishtov municipality, neither in its neighboring municipalities.international.ibox.bg
