The construction has started of the largest residential estate, with regular flats, luxury flats, shops, and boutiques in the central part of the northern Bulgarian town of Vidin on the Danube River. Located on Yavorov Street in the town, the complex is close to the centre of the old town, about 200m from the river and 400m for the city centre itself, weekly Stroitelstvo Gradut reported.It is the largest attempted construction in Vidin since the early 1980s. Its total area will exceed 4970 sq m and it would consist of over 40 flats, seven smaller shops, eight garages, six larger shops and an external auxiliary parking lot. Standing seven stories tall, equipped with modern lifts and with every single entrace of the building equipped with area specially designated for a separate heating terminal unit - the building will also feature the working quarters of the security personnel.The heating insulation of the building will be 4cm thick, with the roof insulation reaching 12cm. Luxury parquet with marble slab flooring and automated lighting will be some of the advanced features of the estate complex.Krassimir Velichkov is the main architect behind the design, which is meant to be a chic mixture and a blend of the classic and neoclassic, modern and functional. Vidin is seeking to adopt a new dynamic and classic image, and this is the sort of building that is encouraged by the authorities, according to Velichkov, as quoted by Stroitelstvo Gradut.The main investor in the new residential complex is Emilekstroi OOD, a construction company with headquarters in Vidin. The design itself is from the Architect Tzenov Studio OOD from Sofia, whereas the actual execution of the project was undertaken by Temel EOOD.The investor is confident that potential costumers who will buy units in the establishment will be delighted with the unique design, modern facilities and all the other advanced extras which have been incorporated into the project.
