The status of 18 military properties is being changed

The status of 18 military properties in Bulgaria, without necessity for use by the Bulgarian army, has been changed from public government property in private government property. The decision was taken by the ministers in the meeting a few days ago.

The change is for store houses and polygons which can be used for business purposes.

Six of the properties are located on the Varnenska Str. in Balchik. Other seven of the properties are located on the General Zaimov Street in the town of Yambol. One of the properties is in the area of the village of Korten, Nova Zagora municipality. The rest of the properties are located in the areas of the villages of Aldomirovtsi, Slivnitsa municipality, the village of Samoranovo, Dupnitsa municipality, the village of Srenishtna, Ihtiman municipality ad in Rousse.

The government revoked its decision from 2010 which which it took from the ministry of defense part of a real estate, public government property and was granted to the commission for protection of the personal information. With this decision, credits from the budget of the commission for protection of the personal information were transferred to the budget of the Ministry of defense.

The ministry council accepted the changes for its own decision for granting the real estates, public government property to the municipality of Yambol.
