The renovation of Musala hut suspended

The Commission for Protection of Competition revoked the decision of the executive secretary of the Bulgarian Tourist Union for selecting of an executor for the completion and renovation of Musala hut.

From the Commission for Protection of Competition discovered that there are several violations of the procedure for selecting an executor of the public order.

According to the Commission the petition of Glavbolgarstroy JSC that the company that was elected for an executor, Consortsium "Musala 2011", offered a price, higher than the allocated funds for the job, announced in the documentation of the assignor, is legitimate. Thus the Commission believes that the participant was unlawfully admitted to evaluation and ranking, due to the fact that they do not comply with the conditions announced in advance by the assignor.

By the appeal of Unuin "Krasstroy Viana" from the commission discovered, that the applicant was disqualified formally and unlawfully from the procedure, only for lack of numbers on the separate envelopes in his offer, due to the reaseon that they were properly labeled about their contents.

As a result of these violations, the Commission for Protection of Competition returns the case back to the assignor for terminating the procedure for selecting the public order until all violations are corrected.
