The price for the first floor flats is rising

The first floor is preferred by buyers of properties. This was the latest news from the brokers after the earthquakes near Pernik. Before the disaster, ground homes were bought last and at a lower price, they assured. Now, the new owners are scared by earthquakes and are looking for apartments that allow them to move out of the house very quickly in case of disaster.

Analyzers say this real estate trend is similar with the one in 1977 when there was great earthquake in Vrancea. After that there was a boom in demand for housing on the lower level.

The houses in the small towns and villages are also a preferred place for living, especially for those who want to stay away from the busy daily life.

In Sandanski and Blagoevgrad, forecasts are more optimistic - the experts expect growth in the number of deals out there for Greek active buyers in the region who withdraw their money from the banks and invest in rural,residential and commercial properties. The latter mainly refers to the Greek businessmen who moved their business in Bulgaria.
