The Metro station next to airport Sofia will be ready earlier

The Metro station, which is being built next to Terminal 2 at Sofia Airport will be an early finish. Currently, 70% of the station is built.

It is expected the work on the infrastructure activities to end entirely at the end of January 2014. "If the winter is on our side, all construction activities will be completed ahead of schedule. It is already built and the under platform plate of unit 1 of 23 Metro station. And soon the construction of high power voltage by air will be underground," said the head of the project engineer Rrosen Manolov.

It is ready and the tunnel stretch, which goes almost to the airport.

Finishing works and the interior will begin early next year. The plan for the completion of the station must be at the end of February 2015, but the construction is expected to finish by Christmas, 2014.
