Property Deals With Bulgarians Living Abroad Increase By Ten Per Cent

Bulgarians working and living abroad rank among the main residential property buyers in Bulgaria in the summer.

Real estate agency Address registered a ten per cent increase of such deals on annual base, investor.bg reported.

Bulgarian clients living abroad are divided into three groups depending on their jobs, brokers said.

The first group includes Bulgarians working in Europe on low or average positions willing to invest in residential property.

Usually they buy two or three bedroom apartments in which they plan to move in several years. They are aged between 25 and 35, single or married with one child.

The second group of clients includes people aged over 40 who have legal income and foreign citizenship. They focus their interest on houses near big cities in Bulgaria where they plan to move after they retire.

Some of the clients in managerial positions make property deals for investment purposes.

Clients differ in what choice they make according to where exactly they live abroad.

On the whole, Bulgarians working in the UK prefer well-maintained property in prestigious residential districts or in gated complexes.

Those clients are usually aged between 30 and 37 and make the purchases through credits they have taken in UK.

Bulgarians who work in Spain prefer smaller apartments. They buy property with their own funds.

People working in the US who have family and are aged over 45 form sufficient part of Bulgarian real estate agencies' clients. They have generated capital and focus on more luxurious apartments or villas.
