More residential plots on the Bulgarian market

One of the segments in which there was a deficiency as before the crisis and after it, was that of plots for housing construction. While the market was booming demand, in the center of the capital and its neighboring districts was severely limited.

In the last year, the National Statistics Institute reported a rise in construction of 4-5 floors residential buildings and small parcels. From the beginning of 2014 there is and growth in transactions with plots of land suitable for the construction of residential buildings. In the center of Sofia right now there are more than 150 similar plots.

The average price per square meter is around 450 €. Plot of 276 sq.m at "Rakovski" str. is available for 500 EUR/m2 with the possibility for the construction of a building with a gross floor area of 700-800 sq.m. In the area of "Dondukov" Boulevard also are offered plots. The price of property with 351 sq. m is 780 EUR/sq.m. One of the most expensive plots of land available in the area of Vitosha Boulevard is 1 442 000 EUR, with area of 412 sq. m.

Over 2300 are the plots suitable for residential buildings in Sofia at the time. Of those, 500 are with size up to 500 sq.m.
