Cheaper studio apartments in the center of Sofia

At the time of the peak of the real estate market in Bulgaria, the biggest interest was for the studio apartments. This trend is felt even more in the present days due to the insufficient financial resources that the property buyers have at disposal, therefore they prefer to buy smaller and cheaper apartments. Some of the property buyers would make a compromise with the size of the apartment but will insist to be in the center of the city.

At the moment in the center of Sofia, the choice of apartments for sale is very limited. There are about 200 properties for sale. The smalles apartment which is offered for sale is 22 sq.m. and costs 20 000 euro, it is located on Vitosha blvd. With 10 000 euro more expensive costs an apartment in a new building with living are 42 sq.m.

For one year the prices of the small apartments in the center of Sofia decreased with 11%. The reason is not in the less interest but in the fact that most of the apartments for sale are in old buildings and need main renovation. The current average price of a square meter is 878 euro.
