Bulgaria is second in the building business in the European Union.
According to Eurostat data there is increase by 3.9 % on an annual basis. The construction work in the euro zone in April 2012 has grown by 2 % compared with the previous month.
In the 27 countries of the European Union construction activity increased in April compared with the previous month with 0.9% after a contraction of 1.3 percent in March. The decline on an annual basis was 5.9%.
The biggest growth was registered in Germany (6.7%), Portugal (5.9%) and Italy (5.5%) and the greatest collapse in Poland (-5.2%), Romania (-3.7%) and Spain (-3.1%).
On a yearly basis, the construction is contracted at 12 and increased in only three countries.
The largest decrease was registered in Poland (-25.1%), Portugal (-24.4%), Slovenia (-19.3%) and Spain (-15.3%) and the highest growth rate in Hungary (9.8%), Bulgarian (3.9%) and Sweden (1.5%).
