Bulgaria-36th in Economic Freedom

Bulgaria is ranked 36 in the rankings "Economic Freedom of the World" produced by the Canadian Institute "Fraser" announced by the Institute for Market Economics.

The report is based on the state of the countries surveyed in 2008Reassessment of one of the indicators in the category "size of government" has led to changes in Bulgaria, recorded in the report made clear by the Institute for Market Economics. Revaluation has been subjected to light concerning the state enterprises and the amount of public investment, which increased results and ranking of our country.

After the changes the country was rated 7.31 and ranked 36 th place as the previous year occupied 41 th place with a 7.30 rating, specified by the Institute for Market Economics.In comparison, the rating of our country in 2000 and 5.27, respectively, then 109-Bulgaria takes place in the world, and in 2005 and is ranked 59 th position with a 6.99 rating.
