Blagoevgrad and Montana - excellent

Charter for the most active municipality in the Operational Programme "Regional Development" 2007-2013 received Blagoevgrad Municipality. The award was presented by the Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Head of the Managing Authority of Operational Programme "Regional Development" Liliana Pavlova an official ceremony.

Blagoevgrad Municipality deserved award won and successfully implemented a total of six projects for the past three years. The total volume of EU funds under OP "Regional Development", attracted by the municipality is 17.5 million

Montana is also one of eight municipalities awarded for successful participation in the OP. The municipality is awarded a diploma for the best performance of a contract on a project to build a new entrance to Montana. Verify implementation of the project is completed without any remarks. The project is paving a new road along the dam, "OGOSTA", which brings traffic to Belogradchik and Chiprovtsi from the city center.
