The construction of seven detached two-bedroom homes and three detached three-bedroom homes at the end of a charming village lying at the foot of the Ossogovo Mountain just 3 km outside the spa resort town of Kyustendil. There are shops, bars and restaurants in the village and these can also be found in abundance in Kyustendil, along with its very welcoming tree-lined, traffic-free centre and the many other attractions it has to offer, such as its famous hot springs and numerous historical sights, including the ancient Roman baths.
The climate in the area makes Kyustendil a year round resort, with an average summer daytime temperature of 27oC and an annual duration of 2200 hours sunshine. There are many activities available within the area, such as fishing, a lake is close to the village. The mountain and its forests provide many areas for leisurely or more vigorous walks, mountain biking and rock climbing is also popular in this area.
Winter activities include skiing. Also the famous ski resort of Borovets is just a 1 hour drive away and Bulgarias most modern ski resort of Bansko can be reached within 90 minutes.
There are many key projects underway in this region of Bulgaria, including the establishment of a duty free zone in Kyustendil due to the region being crossed by international transport corridors, the development of tourist villages in the mountains of Ossogovo and Rila; a luxury hotel and spa in the centre of Kyustendil with direct access to the natural hot springs.
