The village is nice and quiet located 45 km from Yambol city and 68 km from Burgas. Driving to the sea takes no more then an hour.

The settlement is well organized close to a river and a mineral spring with healing water. Most of the locals are Orthodox and the rest are Catholics. There is an Orthodox and Catholic churches in the village, also a shop, medical service, mayor house and library. The region is mainly plain but there are very good opportunities for hunting and finishing.
