The Bulgarian people consider it one of the most popular holiday destinations. An old Roman Bridge that is still in use today crosses the river. At night many village restaurants offering delicious food and drink and many with live traditional Bulgarian music creating a great atmosphere. Other local facilities include swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness centre & sauna, health club and various sporting activities. Bus links are available to all the major towns in the area such as the next village Teteven, Troyan to the east and Lovech to the north.
