  • 20 % first installment minus the deposit at signing the Preliminary Contract (within 28 days after deposit)
  • 20 % second installment is due in two months after the first installment
  • 20 % third installment is due in two months after the second installment
  • 20 % fourth installment is due in two months after the third installment
  • 20 % fifth installment is paid on completion of the complex and transferring of the ownership rights

  • 90 % first installment minus the deposit at signing the Preliminary Contract (within 28 days after deposit)
  • 10 % fifth installment is paid on completion of the complex and transferring of the ownership rights

Prices are final, inclusive of VAT, with the full value declared in the Title deeds. With effect from March 2008, the Municipality of Smolyan has increased the local property tax by 1 %. This now means that the additional costs, notary fees, local tax and stamp duty will be approximately 4 -6% on top of the purchase price).
Every owner of property in Bulgaria pays an annual real estate tax and annual local communal tax the amount of which depends on the size of the property.
