Prices of real estate properties in the Republic of Bulgaria have started to increase rapidly with the growing authorities of the country because of its membership in the EU. Bulgaria became open to business in many aspects and now it offers new opportunities for business and finding foreign partners.
The Bulgarian joining to the European Union passed without any complications, and therefore Bulgaria received a lot of large investment projects. Tremendous excitement in the real estates market is observed currently.
However, the authorities did not control purchases of housing by limiting the foreign investors’ growing appetite.
Among the potential investors Russians are welcome, too.
Since the beginning of this year, lots of Russians have purchased real estates in Bulgaria which worth more than 2 million euro. Pricing policy on the real estates market in Bulgaria is yet strikingly different from price values in other European countries. For example, the cost of housing in Greece is several times higher than the one which is in Bulgaria.
In Bulgaria you can purchase a residential property as well as a commercial one.
The approximate price variation is:
the prices for a luxury mansion (300-400 m2 close to the beach) is in the range from 400 000 to 1.5 million EUR;
the prices for an apartment is less: they are in the range from 700 to 1000 EUR/sq m;
the prices for plots of land are not of the highest level: they range from 60 000 per 1000 m2 of land.
The offers are highly varied that even the most demanding buyers will be able to select and evaluate the combination of quality and price of the property.
