Sozopol gives municipal plots for golf courses

Plots for three golf courses are defined in the new regulation plan of Sozopol, said the mayor of the town Panayot Reizi. Each one of them will be about 1000 dka large and predominant part of the plots is municipal property.

The courses will be served by an airport for small planes with track of 1800 m between the villages of Ravna Gora and Izvor. It’s certain that around the airport will be plots re-grouping for the road to be provided with plots. It is a fact that the terrain is very appropriate as there is an agricultural airport existing, writes “Dnevnik”.

Regarding the infrastructure in the area of Ravna Gora, Izvor and the villages around them the municipality has serious intentions. Up to two years all infrastructural problems with water, sewage and streets in the villages will be finally solved, assures the municipality administration. Till one year and a half the purifying station in Sozopol will start operating that will collect waste water of Sozopol, Ravadinovo, Chernomoretz, Atia, Dyuni and Alepu. For the future golf complexes there are local purifying station foreseen, as the intentions are concerted with the Regional Environment and Water Inspection in Burgas.

As a part of the municipality management program there are already series undertaken for changing the profile of the tourist visiting, pointed the mayor of Sozopol. According to him by means of the golf projects Sozopol will gain for partners serious investors. The municipality will give them plots between 500 and 1000 dka and will cooperate for adding private plots too.

For the time being these plots are agricultural. Their determination in the new regulation plan for golf courses means that their purpose could be rapidly changed and they could be assigned for golf tourism development. i.e for plots with low building parameters in parts of them.

According to the prognosis to the future sports complexes additional private terrains will enter, to answer the crescent interest on behalf of the investors. We have goods that other municipalities don’t have, therefore we will succeed to build our golf courses quickly, said the head architect of Sozopol municipality Rumen Aleksandrov.

In the municipality strategy there is a plan underlying for building a big entertainment park spreading over 300 dka in the area between the road Sozopol – Burgas and the bay near camping “Gradina”.
