Data from the Registry Agency shows that there is increase with 5.26% in the real estate transactions in regional cities in the second quarter of 2013, compared with the same period of last year.
The total growth of the purchases and sales of real estate in Bulgaria for the same period is 3.3%. From April to June there have been 55 716 transactions, as 30 391 (or 55%) are in the regional cities.
In Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna is reported double-digit percentage in the growth of the purchases and sales. With more than 11% are the transactions concluded in the capital.
This once again confirms that the capital is one of the most preferred cities for property purchase in the uncertain times. In the past 3 months in Sofia were implemented 5 087 buying and selling of properties, while in the same period last year were 4 585.
As in the first quarter of this year and the second highest growth in real estate transactions, occurred in Plovdiv. For the period of April - June 2013 were performed 20% more property transactions, compared with the same period of last year.
In Varna, this rate is 10.5%.
For first time since 2008, increase in the volume of property transactions noted above is in 2011.
Then, in the first half of 2012, the sales of the real estate fell by 12 percent under the pressure of the crisis.
In the period June - December of 2012 increased interest of purchases of real estates, led to compensate for declines in volumes of transactions and the year ended with a decline of only 2%.
By the beginning of 2013, the trend is for growth in the sales of real estate.
