Funds for land in Bulgaria more and more concentrate their assets
Last deals with agricultural lands lead to consolidating of the areas and differentiation of priority regions.
The Funds for agricultural lands more and more concentrate their ownership in the areas which has priority for them. This is what the data from the monthly newsletters for November for leading Join-Stock Company with special investment purposes. "Agro Finance", which was one of the active in buying lands companies during the last month, has concentrated its efforts in exchanging plots. The company has exchanged 1016 decars with lands belonging to another company. The exchanged lands are in priority areas in which "Agro Finance"already has significant sized lands, the newsletter of the company for the month explains.
At the end of November 2011 the portfolio of the Company already consists of 130827 decars agricultural lands. This number does not include the deal for other 9930 decars of land in North-west Bulgaria . for which the Board of Directors of Agro Finance announced a few days ago that they would be bought . 4500 decars from it are located in one area. North-west Bulgaria is a priority area for the company because big part of its lands are concentrated there. The Fund possesses 49000 decars in the region, which is characterized with high quality of the land and good potential for agriculture , the company has explained about the deal . Nearly 89% from the portfolio with lands of the company are located in the three North regions of Bulgaria and over 37 % are in North-west . One of the main purposes of the Company is consolidation of the portfolio of lands in the priority areas. Land which is consolidated on one place is more effective for cultivation and with higher value as assets, "Agro Finance" has explained. Invested financing up to this moment is a bit more than 37 million leva.
"Bull land Investments " also reports bigger concentration of the possessed lands in one area in comparison to areas in which the company has lower presence. Another accent in the program is redirection to areas with developed land lease relations. During the third trimester the Fund has acquired 225 decars of agricultural land with which the total area possessed by the Fund has reached 18301 decars which costs 5,9 million leva. For the past two periods the company was a net seller of lands .
