Bulgaria Pays Off Six Loans To Ebrd Ahead Of Terms

On Tuesday, March 25 was realized operation on paying off six loans to European Bank for Reconstructions and Development (EBRD) ahead of term.

The loans were on the amount of 266,9 million EUR and $12,8 million, along with the due interests, reported from the Finance Ministry.

Similar transactions of paying loans to the EBRD were accomplished in the first half of 2006 and in the beginning of 2006.

The paying ahead of term was realized counting the prognosis for execution of the state budget in 2008 and the level of the fiscal reserve.

The operation leads to decrease of the loans measures and to improvement of its interest structure.international.ibox.bg
